Size and Shape Optimization of a Guyed Mast Structure under Wind, Ice and Seismic Loading

چکیده
This paper discusses the size and shape optimization of a guyed radio mast for radiocommunications. The considered structure represents widely industrial solution due to recent spread 5G 6G mobile networks. was modeled with finite element software SAP2000 optimized through genetic algorithm (GA). exploits open application programming interfaces (OAPI) SAP2000-Matlab. Static dynamic analyses were carried out provide realistic design scenarios structure. authors action wind, ice, seismic loads as variable loads. A parametric study on most critical variables includes several minimize structure’s total self-weight by varying relevant parameters selected preliminary sensitivity analysis. In conclusion, final considerations are discussed highlighting best scenario in terms objective function number involved
